Newsweek: Hybrid work could bring talent back to California

The pandemic prompted many professionals to leave California, taking advantage of remote work to live in areas with lower housing costs.

But the coming months could tell a different story, according to Charles Faigle, EVP of Talent Solutions, Americas at Wilson.

When speaking to reporters at Newsweek about the shift towards hybrid work arrangements, Faigle said: 

Some people who had moved to a lower-cost location working remotely are now required to be in the office several times a week.”

Some companies also adjust salaries based on employee location, which could drive people back to California where salaries are typically higher, he added.
